Designed and manufactured the first wind turbine in East Africa in 1981 and installed the first wind turbines electronics systems in the Horn of Africa in 1985. By 1995 MaxPower had installed more than 100 solar power stations and 53 wind power systems in the Horn of Africa. MaxPower has to date installed more than 50 MW of diesel, solar and wind power electrical infrastructure since 1983. Mainly in Urban and Rural Electrifications. In the case of rural electrification, it is mainly deep wells electrification, solar and wind systems etc.
